I am a sports writer with experience writing about hockey, lacrosse and general sports for the web. Currently, I am the national lacrosse writer for Examiner, after spending a year as the site’s Boston Lacrosse Examiner. I cover the National Lacrosse League, Major League Lacrosse, and college lacrosse. Additionally, I write for Beantown Athletic Supporters, a popular all-female sports blogger site. In February 2010, I contributed to Inside Lacrosse’s Men’s Division I Season Previews, covering Harvard University.

I have also had the change to work on social media outreach for Hockey on Campus, New England’s top radio show for junior and college hockey coverage. My writing has also appeared on the websites CoachChic.com , HLOG (Hockey’s Ladies of Greatness), and Hendrick’s Hockey.

I also wrote both Boston University and Cornell University’s player profiles, along with a sidebar, for the Red Hot Hockey 2009 game program.

Sports Event Management

A highlight of the last decade for me was having the opportunity to volunteer at the Red Hot Hockey Boston University-Cornell University matchup at Madison Square Garden in both November 2007 and 2009. I worked media credentialing and in-game promotions (including the intermission Zamboni drive promotion and working with the camera operator on fan participation activities on the Jumbotron.)

I have also volunteered at the 2008 National Lacrosse League draft and combine (September 2008) and the Alli Dew Tour Boston event, both at the TD Garden in Boston, MA.

Non-Sports Work

In addition to the above, I have done a fair amount of writing, social media, web design and graphic design work for my full-time job (non-sports related.)
