Hi Ogre -

That would be the Breck School in Minnesota, and then he did a post-grad at the Taft School in Connecticut.

Unlike much of BU's recent recruiting classes, Curry never played in the US National Development program out in Ann Arbor, although he has since been tapped to play in a few international tournaments for USA Hockey since his graduation from BU.

Hope that helps!

Hi Kat, an off-topic Q: Where did John Curry play prior to BU? Did he play in the US National program and, if so, for whom? Thanks much.

In my experience following sports schedules I've often seen changes closer to the season especially regarding tournaments. It's possible that there is a prexisting agreement between the two schools, and that info has been transmitted to SID, and poof later on it changes.

It's a good pick up though to see that might be the case. It's possible that if BC pulls out it might have to make it up to DU somehow.

I've also found though that schedule releases don't generally follow any set formula, some schools just release them at various times at random it seems, others integrate it into their marketing plan so literally the schedule is kept secret until it can be released to maximum effect.

I'm decidedly curious though, I was already going to try to get tickets to the Winter Classic (when it becomes official) A double header could make it even better and also require more hot chocolate.
